    The Cincinnati Museum Center’s historic Ice Age Gallery received a much needed update.

  • A NEW FAMILY OF MASTODONS MAKE THIER APPEARANCE

    Direction was taken from museum content experts and great care was seen to adhering to the look and feel of the original environmental murals.

  • HISTORIC TO THE LEFT, HISTORIC TO THE RIGHT, ALL NEW IN THE MIDDLE

    The already existing environmental mural, by wildlife artist John Agnew, needed to seamlessly flow into a new 9’ x 15’ blank section of wall.

    EVERY BLADE OF GRASS

    Capturing the same brushstrokes and patterning as the original mural to the left.

  • PASSENGER PIGEONS

    The goal of this project was to continue the environment in the same style, technique, and level of detail, as the original artist.

  • BLACK RACER AND SHORT TAILED SHREW

    Incorporating new species, who's semi fossilized remains have been documented in the region, for further interpretation opportunities.

Through a personal art practice, utilizing both traditional and digital methods, Maria highlights the fascinating wildlife relationships within Ohio's habitats and ecosystems.
